Childhood and education

Paloma was raised alongside her siblings in Acapulco by her father who was a car mechanic, and her mother who was a seamstress.

She grew up dreaming about becoming a model, as she and her friends often read girly magazines and watched models on the catwalks on TV. Paloma was physically very active while attending high school, as she did gymnastics, played soccer and volleyball, and was also a member of the school’s drama club, appearing in most of the plays performed at the school, although rarely playing lead characters. She matriculated in 2001, and then chose to focus on her modelling career rather than pursue a college degree.

Career as a model

Paloma has posed for numerous popular brands and companies, including Coca Cola, Pantene and Honda, and could’ve been seen featured on the cover page of many magazines, including the Mexican version of “Maxim”.
