Childhood and education

Reilly was raised as a single child in Vancouver by his father who was a mailman, and his mother who was working as a nurse at a local hospital. Reilly was interested in playing sports while attending elementary school, and upon enrolling at a public high school, he started playing football for the school’s team. He wasn’t interested in acting until he took a digital media class, and it was during 11th grade that he joined the school’s drama club, and began appearing in nearly all the plays performed there.

He matriculated in 2006, and then didn’t to enroll at a college, but pursued his career as an actor.

Reilly made his debut TV series appearance in 2007, when he portrayed Brennan in the episode “The List” of the science fiction drama series “Bionic Woman”, which starred Michelle Ryan and Miguel Ferrer, and which is closely focused on the eponymous ‘70s TV series which followed an athlete with bionic strength.
