Yuzvendra Singh Chahal, professionally known as Yuzvendra Chahal is an Indian cricketer and former chess player. He found IPL success with the Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He has earned multiple Man of the Match awards representing India in ODI and T20I play. He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe in Harare on 11th June 2016 and ended the match with the figures of 1/27 in his 10 over spell whereas on 19th June 2016, Chahal made his T20 debut against Zimbabwe where he finished with a figure of 1/38 in his 10-over spell. He is currently a player for the Rajasthan Royals franchise in the IPL. He was also a talented young chess player before giving up the game to pursue cricket. - Yuzvendra Chahal began his career by signing up by Mumbai Indians in 2011 where he appeared in only 1 IPL game across three-season and that was against Kolkata Knight Riders on 24th April but played in all matches in the 2011 Champions League Twenty20.

- Yuzvendra was named in the 14-man squad to tour Zimbabwe in 2016 whereas he made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club on 11th June 2016, Richmond Mutumbami was his first wicket in ODIs.
- On 18th June 2016, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut against Zimbabwe at Harare and became the first bowler for India to take a five-wicket haul in T20Is, ending with figures of 6/25 against England on 1st February 2017.
- He was also the first legspinner to pick up a fifer as well as 6 wicket haul in a T20I and had the record for the best bowling as a legspinner in T20I history (6/25).
