Usman ‘SojaBoy’ Umar is the only older cast member returning to “Before the 90 Days” this season as a part of the show’s seven new couples in 2021. They have an age gap of 18 years as Kim’s age is 51 and Usman’s age is 33. Previously, he appeared on Season 4 of “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days” with his now Ex-Wife Lisa Hamme.

He is currently in a relationship with his new girlfriend, Kimberly Menzies from “90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days season 5” after his divorce from Lisa ‘BabyGirl’ Hamme in December 2020. Kimberly and Usman started dating in 2020. Kim was the first to reach out to him on social media. How did they meet and their Relationship
In the preview for the new season of “90 Day Fiance”, Kim says that she began messaging Usman after becoming a fan of Usman as he is a singer and rapper. “I flew halfway across the world to meet the man of my dreams,” Kimberly says. “I messaged him, and he messaged me back, and I was like ‘oh my god!’ And that’s how I fell in love with international superstar, Usman a.k.a. Sojaboy.” In the preview, Kimberly gets upset about Usman making a music video about another woman. Usman’s work was one of the main issues between him and Lisa. Kimberly also throws a tantrum over Usman’s behavior in the clip, which is also exactly what Lisa used to do.
Usman said that despite Kim getting upset and throwing a drink in his face in the trailer for this season, she’s not at all like Lisa or fellow 90 Day Fiancé star Angela, who are known for their explosive tempers. Usman memorably got into a heated argument with Angela when they both appeared on 90 Day Bares All in March and Angela called him a scammer and a “piece of sh**,” while he called her a “pig”.
TLC’s synopsis of the couple’s relationship provides a little more background on their union. “Divorcee Kim first reached out to Nigerian musician Usman on social media as a fan. After a year of phone calls, messages, and establishing a long-distance connection, Kim is ready to meet Usman in person and take their relationship to the next level. However, Usman is hesitant about his commitment to Kim. He met his American ex-wife online as well and needs to know that his relationship with Kim will be different. The couple plans to meet for the first time in Tanzania, where Usman is shooting a music video, but can they ultimately put aside their doubts?

The one big problem with marrying Usman is the fact that he wants children, as this is part of his tradition. In a teaser for the upcoming premiere of season 5, her friends ask if she would have Usman’s babies, to which Kim laughs and says, “No, I did all that.” She then totally shocks viewers by saying that, hypothetically, if they marry in the future, she would allow the Nigerian rapper to marry “a second wife to have kids.”

According to Usman, his relationship with Kim is “normal” and it has its usual ups and downs. “She’s beautiful, she’s nice, she’s supportive,” said Usman as he added that Kim being “loyal” is her best quality. Usman appreciates that about Kim, which is why he said that his “relationship is good.” It appears that Kim’s loyalty is what drew Usman to her. “I am proud to say that I love her,” Usman admitted. “Her loyalty is [the] number one thing that nobody would question,” Usman told the interviewer as he explained, “I don’t think there’s any way you can find somebody that’s so loyal like Kimberly.” Usman thinks that it’s difficult for someone to find a woman who possesses the same kind of loyalty that Kim does. He wasn’t hesitant about getting into a new relationship because Lisa is “married already,” so he didn’t see a point in waiting. Still, Kimberly managed to break “all the barriers” that Usman had about never dated anyone after Lisa. Kim “tries to make sure that she make[s] me happy,” he said. Kim is beautiful “inside and outside,” according to Sojaboy, and he couldn’t stop gushing about her in the video.
