Michaela McManus was born on 20 May 1983, in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA. The daughter of James McManus and his wife Patricia, Michaela grew up in Warwick, where she attended Toll Gate High School. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with honors.

In 2008, Michaela McManus landed the recurring role of Lindsey Strauss in the popular CW drama “One Tree Hill”, appearing in a total of 17 episodes during the show’s fifth season. Kim Greylek in the 10th season of the popular crime-drama series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, portraying a driven and determined prosecutor who is not afraid to take on challenging cases. Her character was introduced as a replacement for A.D.A. Casey Novak, played by Diane Neal, who left the series after the ninth season.
McManus’s co-stars on the show included Mariska Hargitay, Ice-T, and Christopher Meloni, among others.
