Who is Sean Giambrone?
American actor Sean Giambrone was born in St. Joseph, Michigan USA, on 30 May 1999, making Gemini his zodiac sign. He’s appeared in 29 movies and TV series, and has since 2013 been starring as Adam Goldberg in the comedy series “The Goldbergs”, appearing in all of its 229 episodes. The series also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, was created by Adam F. Goldberg and follows the lives of the Goldbergs family from Jenkintown, Pennsylvania; the series has won four of its 19 award nominations.
Education and early life
Sean was raised alongside his brother Luke in Park Ridge, Illinois by their mother Vonda and father David Giambrone; Sean rarely speaks about his family in public, but it’s known that his parents are of German and Italian descent.
He was born in St. Joseph only because his parents were visiting family members there; he became interested in acting at a very early age, and was nine when he appeared in his first commercial, then for several successful companies, including Friendly’s Restaurants and McDonald’s.
Sean was 13 when he made his debut film appearance, playing Toledo Kid in the 2012 adventure family comedy “I Heart Shakey”, which starred Beverly D’Angelo and Steve Lemme, and was written and directed by Kevin Cooper; it follows the lives of a 35-year-old widower J. T. O’Neil and his 10-year-old daughter.
Sean studied at Lincoln Middle School prior to progressing to Maine South High School, from which he matriculated in 2017; he then moved to Los Angeles, California to work on his acting career, and chose not to enroll at college.

Sean’s debut TV series role was playing Sean Daly in the 2014 episode “I’m Not Martin” of the action adventure comedy “R. L. Stine’s the Haunting Hour”, and from 2013 through 2018, he voiced Jeff Randall in 89 episodes of the animated adventure comedy “Clarence”, which starred Katie Crown and Spencer Rothbell, and was created by Skyler Page. It follows the lives of 4th graders Clarence, Jeff and Sumo, and the series was nominated for a 2016 Annie Award for Best Animated TV/Broadcast Production for Children’s Audience.
In 2018, Sean voiced characters in an episode of both the animated action “Adventure Time” and the action adventure “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & “Cat Noir”, and from 2018 through 2020, he voiced Richardson Mole in 12 episodes of the animated action adventure “Big Hero 6: The Series”, which starred Ryan Potter and Scott Adsit, and was created by Mark McCorkle and Nicholas Filippi. It follows the life of teen genius Hiro Hamada who’s invented the Baymax robot, and the series won one of its seven award nominations.

Some of Sean’s recent TV series roles have been voicing Ben Pincus in 46 episodes of the animated action adventure “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous” from 2020 through 2022, voicing Yumyulack in 29 episodes of the animated adventure comedy “Solar Opposites” since 2020, and voicing Ant-Man in four episodes of the 2023 animated action adventure “Spidey and His Amazing Friends”.
Roles in movies
Sean voiced the main character Russell in the 2015 family sports drama “Russell Madness”, which also starred Steve Richmond and David Milchard, and was directed by Robert Vince; it follows a man who’s inherited his grandfather’s wrestling arena, and is trying to revive the family business with the help of his wrestling dog and talking monkey. Also in 2015, Sean had roles in the short animated comedy “Clarence Shorts: Beauford T. Pusser” (voice role), another short animated comedy “Clarence Shorts: Big Boy” (voice role) and the family adventure comedy “Mark & Russell’s Wild Ride”.
The year 2017 heard him voice Travis in the not-so-popular animated adventure comedy “The Emoji Movie”, which starred Anna Faris, James Corden and T. J. Miller, and was written and directed by Tony Leondis. It follows a multi-expressional emoji who wants to become a normal emoji, and the movie won six of its 10 award nominations.
Sean’s also known for voicing The Eboy in the critically acclaimed 2018 animated adventure comedy “Ralph Breaks the Internet”, which starred Sarah Silverman and John C. Reilly, and was written and directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston. It follows Vanellope and Ralph who’ve discovered the internet, and the film won three of its 70 award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Feature Film.
Some of Sean’s recent film roles have been in 2019 in the short musical “Sean Giambrone & Issac Ryan Brown: Naked Mole Rap Remix” and the animated adventure comedy “The Secret Life of Pets 2” (voice role), and the 2021 short animated drama “Wild Help” (voice role).

He and Stephanie Katherine Grant dated sometime in the 2010s; she’s an actress with 13 credits to her name, and they met on the set of the series “The Goldbergs” in 2014. Stephanie’s won seven of her 27 award nominations, while most of her wins are for her performance in the 2021 short thriller movie “Kepley”.
It’s believed that Sean and Katherine were together for around a year, but since then he seems to have been unattached, as of May 2023 hasn’t married, and doesn’t have children.

Sean’s steadily building his fanbase on Instagram; he’s today followed by close to 170,000 people and has uploaded over 1,400 pictures and videos, most of these are about the series “The Goldbergs”.
