- Hafthor got his first main acting role as Ser Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in the fourth season of the HBO series, “Game of Thrones” in 2013. He played the role of “The Mountain” for 4 seasons till season 8, becoming the first actor to portray the role in more than one continuous season.
