Carol Mcgiffin Biography
Carol Deirdre Mcgiffin was born on Feb 18, 1960. She was born in London but raised in Maidstone, Kent, to British parents, Hohn Mcgiffin and Heather Barham. Carol Mcgiffin has two brothers and a sister. She is British broadcaster of radio and television best known for her regular appearances on daytime talk show Loose Women. Carol has been active since 1988. She has British nationality.
Carol Mcgiffin Career
She began her broadcast career in 1988 as being co-host of the Chris Evans on GLR. Her style then and characterized today is based on comedic observation of men.
In the year of 1995, Carol was a founding member of ‘Talk Radio UK’ team, where she co-presented the popular weekday evening show The Rude Awakening with Moz Dee. When the show finished in Sep 1995, she became expert of the station music for around six months, hosting her own Friday evening review slot and appearing every week on Jonathan King’s program. In late 1996, she appeared again on Liberty Radio, co-hosting the breakfast show with Richard Skinner for six months. She made union with Paul Ross and Nick Abbot in varying time slots in 1997 and 1998.
In 1999, she joined London radio station LBC teaming up again with Abbot, who left the station after six months. Carol continued to host the show on her own with producer including Marcus Railton and Jonathan Sanchez until Sep 30, 2000. She co-hosted phone in shows on BBC London Live. In 2002, she occasionally teamed up with Abbot on Real Radio.
She joined Live Talk in 2000 and was a regular from start to finish in 2001. She then moved back to the rebranded version of Live Talk, Loose Women in 2003, where she continued until her departure in 2013.
Between Feb and July 2006, she was the southern presenter of the Local Radio Company’s night time talk show North-south Divided. Mike Elliot was her northern counterpart. In August 2006, she returned to LBC 97.3 where she was presenting a Sunday morning show. Her weekly views on the world and travel advice in her ‘travel clinic’ ended on Feb 10, 2008, when she left the station. Throughout the summer of 2012, she regularly viewed the daily newspapers on ‘this morning.’ In August 2013, she joined the Celebrity Big brother house to do a competition in the 12th series where she reached in fourth place.

Carol Mcgiffin Personal life
Mcgiffin is a supervisor of the 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake. For several years, she has returned to Maidstone to join members of her family and take part in Race for Life to collect money for the charity Cancer Research UK; she did this all in memory of her mother. She also used to do smoking.
Carol Mcgiffin is living in Hampton, North London. She is married to Chris Evans in 1991, who is also a presenter. They separated in 1993. And divorced in 1998. Later in 2008, Mcgiffin did engagement to Mark Cassidy since 2008.
In Feb 2015, Carol announced that she had breast cancer that she had diagnosed with a year earlier. She went through chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments as well as having a mastectomy.
