Who is Dylan Kingwell?

Dylan is being raised in Vancouver alongside his two sisters, by their father who is a theatre actor, and their mother who is working as a nurse at a local hospital.

Dylan’s parents helped him launch his career, as he won his first role at the age of four, and went on to practice his skills at both his school’s drama club and at a local theatre, at which his father occasionally performs. Dylan also became interested in ice hockey at quite an early age, and played for his elementary school team, while he is today also playing for his high school team.

Dylan enrolled at a high school in 2018, so should matriculate in 2022, after which it seems that he will most likely focus on his acting career, and won’t be enrolling at a college.

Dylan made his debut film appearance in 2011, when cast to play Jordy Junior in the romantic comedy “To the Mat” written by C. Jay Cox, directed by Robert Iscove, and which starred Ricky Schroder, Laura Bell Bundy and Cameron Bancroft – the film follows an ex-wrestler who is running a wrestling school which might close for lack of work.

In 2013, Dylan appeared as The Little Boy in the action comedy “The Young and Prodigious T. S.
