Alexi Ashe was born in 1984, though the precise date of her birth is still a mystery. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA, so holds American nationality. Her father, Thomas Ashe, is an experienced photographer, who travelled around the world to capture the views of Cuba, Thailand, Vietnam, and other beautiful countries; he also took photos of Elton John in the late ‘70s.

Alexi’s mother, Joanne Ashe, is an activist, educator and the founder and executive director of “Journey in Film” project; having an MD in education, Joanne worked with the Russian Olympic Committee in order to establish a proper cross-cultural physical education program, and she also curated children’s mental health issues. Alexi met her future husband, Seth Meyers, at Chris Kattan’s wedding ceremony in 2008, when he married Sunshine Deia Tutt. Chris is a popular American comic, writer and actor; he is also Seth’s former colleague, as they worked together at “Saturday Night Live” show. The ceremony was decorated by the designers who also create the decorations for “Saturday Night Live”, and among them was Ariel Ashe, Alexi’s sister.
