Alireza Safar Beiranvand is an Iranian professional football player. He currently plays for the Persian Gulf Pro League club Persepolis and the Iran national team. His playing position is a goalkeeper.
Alireza Beiranvand started playing football for the youth team of Vahdat in 2007. In 2008, he joined the youth team of Naft Tehran and began his career at the club. He then played for Persepolis, Royal Antwerp, and Boavista (loan). On 31 May 2022, he returned to Persepolis on a new three-year contract on a free transfer.
On the international level, Alireza Beiranvand has represented Iran at various age levels. He has represented Iran at U20, U23, and the senior level. He made his senior international team debut for Iran on 4 January 2015. He has represented Iran at the 2015 and 2019 AFC Asian Cups, and at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. - On 10 July 2021, Alireza Beiranvand joined Primeira Liga side Boavista on a one-year loan with a purchase option for €1 million.
