Early life and education
Carmella was raised in Running Springs alongside her sister Angie, by their father who is a lawyer, and their mother who is a real estate agent.

The two girls grew up taking care of one another as their parents spent most of their time working – they also had a nanny from time to time, but the girls didn’t get along with her. They both became interested in modelling at around the same time, as they watched TV while their parents were at work, and later started reading girly magazines. Carmella attended a local high school, at which she was physically active playing soccer and tennis as she believed these would help her look fit, and become ready for her modelling career.
She was also hoping to one day launch her acting career, which is one of the reasons why she was a member of the school’s drama club.
Upon matriculating in 2013, Carmella didn’t enroll at a college but chose to pursue a career as a model.

The two dated for around three months before splitting ways for unknown reasons, and not long after that, Carmella started seeing David Bywater, a model and a social media star perhaps known best for his Instagram account which is followed by close to 100,000 people.

Since 2018 Carmella has been in a relationship with Juanpa Zurita, a Mexican social media star, model and actor.
