Nichole was raised in Minneapolis by her parents, but not a lot is known about them, except that they divorced when Nichole was still very young, that her father was an alcoholic, and that he died.
Nichole was urged by her mother to focus on her education, and was thus one of the best students at her high school. She had numerous interests, including acting, creative writing and dancing, and upon matriculation in 1994 enrolled at Arizona State University, however, she quit after her brother died in a skiing accident.
Career as a film writer and producer
Not a lot is known about Nichole’s career from 1994 to 2007, but it’s believed that she worked various jobs to financially support herself, before joining the film industry as a writer and producer.
She launched her career with her job as a staff writer for nine episodes of the fantasy mystery series “John from Cincinnati”, but which was cancelled after airing 10 episodes. In 2008, she worked as a staff writer on four episodes (three uncredited) of the crime thriller series “Sons of Anarchy”, and followed by working on various series, writing two episodes of “Rubicon” in 2010, writing two and producing 12 episodes of “Prime Suspect” in 2011, and then wrote five and produced 16 episodes of “The Walking Dead”.
The following years saw her write single episodes of several series, including “The Bastard Executioner” and “Emerald City” and in 2018, plus one and producing 10 episodes of “Beyond”. One of her notable works was producing the 2019 western drama film “Deadwood: The Movie”, written by David Milch, directed by Daniel Minahan and which starred Timothy Olyphant, Ian McShane and Molly Parker; the movie won Nichole a nomination for a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Television Movie in 2019 and a Producers Guild of America Award for Outstanding Producer of Streamed or Televised Motion Pictures in 2020.

He gained recognition after he was invited to act in the dramatic series “China Beach”, and then became somewhat popular after portraying the supporting character Frank in the sitcom “My Name is Earl”. He is also known for his portrayal of Don Self, one of the lead characters in the fourth season of the series “Prison Break”.
He made his directing debut in 2011, with the documentary movie “Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest”, which received positive reviews. He also directed the series of documentary movies “30 for 30”, the first of which was released in 2014 and played at the Tribeca Film Festival.
