Laurens was raised alongside his sister in The Netherlands, by their father Bert van Leeuwen who became popular for hosting the program “Family Dinner”, and their mother who is a housewife.
He became interested in modeling while still attending elementary school, and was bullied by his peers because of it– this continued at high school, and it motivated Laurens to start attending a local gym.
