José Andrés Guardado Hernández professionally known as Andrés Guardado is a Mexican professional football player. He currently plays for La Liga club Real Betis and captains the Mexico national team. His playing position is a defensive midfielder.
Andrés Guardado started playing football for the youth team of Atlas in 1993 and began his career at the club. In 2007, he officially signed for the Spanish team Deportivo where he spent five seasons.
