Anne Heche is an American actress, director, and screenwriter who is well known for her dual role in the daytime soap opera, “Another World”(1987–91). Anne Heche was born on May 25, 1969, in Aurora, Ohio, United States. Her birth name is Anne Celeste Heche. Her nationality is American. Heche belongs to mixed ethnicity while Gemini is her zodiac sign. 

Anne Heche was born as the youngest of five children of her parents: Donald Joseph Heche(father) and Nancy Heche(mother). Her mother, Nancy is also a psychotherapist, author, and activist who also has written a memoir titled “The Truth Comes Out” while her father was a Baptist choir director who was gay but he never came out as homosexual until he died at age of 45. 

Heche grew up along with her 4 elder siblings, three of whom are deceased, Susan who died of brain cancer in 2006, Cynthia who died in infancy of a heart defect in 1961, Nathan who died in a car crash in 1983. Her only surviving sibling is Abigail, who is a jewelry designer. Her family moved almost 11 times during her childhood and even lived in an Amish community and got settled in Ocean City, New Jersey when Heche was just 12 years old.

Three months after her father’s death, Heche’s 18-year-old brother Nathan was killed in a car crash, following which her mother, Nancy has been a Christian therapist and motivational speaker, who lectures on behalf of James Dobson’s Focus on the Family about “overcoming homosexuality”. 

Later, Heche’s family subsequently moved to Chicago, where Heche attended the progressive Francis W. Parker School.
