Early life and education

Atticus was raised as an only child in Santa Clarita by his parents Ron, a dentist, and Debbie, a nurse, who are huge fans of the book and the movie “To Kill a Mockingbird” which is why they named him after Atticus Finch who is a lawyer in the film.

While he was still very young, Atticus was diagnosed with type four osteogenesis imperfect, which affects his bones in a way that makes them fragile, and impossible for Atticus to grow very tall. His family is Christian and very religious, and Atticus reads the Bible every day – he was baptized in 2015.

Atticus attended a local elementary school where he became interested in acting, and appeared in several school plays. He went on to enroll at a public high school where he was somewhat popular, as his career as an actor was already launched by that time. Upon matriculation in 2016, Atticus didn’t enroll at college, but rather focused on his career as an actor.

Roles in movies

Atticus made his debut film appearance in 2008 at the age of 10, in “Leaving Barstow”, and then acted in the superhero movie “Hancock”, and the satirical comedy “An American Carol” in the same year. 2009 saw him portray Matty Newton in the supernatural horror movie “The Unborn”, Small Man in the comedy “Opposite Day”, and he had his first voicing role as Tommy in the drama romantic movie “Subject: I Love You”.

He has his own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Bruce Willis, Eddie Murphy and Angelina Jolie, while some of his favorite movies are “Pulp Fiction”, “Meet Dave”, and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”. Atticus enjoys playing Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Lego, and is keen on reading in his spare time with his favorite books being “Star Wars” and “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” while he also likes to read history books such as those about World War II, and the Romanov family which ruled over Russia and was killed by communists on 16 July 1918.
