Early life and education
Bart was raised as a single child in California by his father who was a businessman, and his mother who was a model, but they divorced when Bart was six.

Bart has stayed in good relations with both of his parents, and started doing comedy for himself at a very early age as his parents would leave him alone at home with not much to do. Bart would sit in front of his camera doing whatever weird, strange and funny things would cross his mind.
Bart was one of the worst students at his high school, but wanted to pursue a medical degree after matriculation, however, he first became a member of the US Marine Corps. He later enrolled at the University of California, switched to East Los Angeles College where he stayed for two years before going back to University of California, Los Angeles graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in biology.
He also thought about becoming a professional drummer and joining a band, as he has been playing drums since he was five, but gave up on that idea.
Career as an actor and YouTuber
Bart and his close friend Joe Jo started taking comedy lessons together at the age of 19, and then began taking acting lessons as well. They both worked several jobs to financially support themselves before launching their YouTube channel “JustKiddingFilms” on 18 August 2007, and they upload new videos every Sunday. The channel is currently subscribed by more than 1.6 million people, and counts over 375 million views of all their videos combined; two of their most popular are “Real Couples: Sex Feat.
Olivia Thai” which has been viewed nearly 16 million times since 28 August 2011, and “Korean Teacher in America” which has been seen more than 3.4 million times since it was uploaded on 1 April 2012. Most of their videos are focused on social and cultural issues with a pinch of comedy, and Bart enjoys unravelling social myths.
After the success of their main channel, they launched another channel entitled “JustKiddingParty”, which counts over a million subscribers, and onto which they upload videos of parties, games and challenges. Their third channel – “JustKiddingNews” – was launched on 10 July 2012 and has become more popular than all others counting almost two million followers.
Their fourth and last channel, “JustKiddingGamer” was launched in 2012, and counts more than 190,000 subscribers.
After marrying his long-term girlfriend, Geovanna, the two created their YouTube channel “Bart & Geo” which serves as their vlog, as the two are uploading videos of their everyday lives. It counts nearly 850,000 subscribers, and over 270 million views of all their videos combined.
As an actor, Bart has appeared in the crime short film “30 Seconds” written by Casey Chan and Steven Greene, and in the short comedy movie “626” directed by Jason Poon, written by Andrew Fund and David Fung, and which starred Jason Chen.

Bart became interested in working out when he was 16 years old, and he and his wife have opened a gym together, and launched another YouTube channel – “Barbell Brigade” – which counts nearly 700,000 subscribers and over 137 million views of all their videos combined. Love life and wife
Bart had numerous girlfriends while attending high school and college, but none of his relationships lasted longer than five months as Bart was afraid of commitment. However, he met Geovanna Antoinette at a gym in 2010, they started dating and five years later married at a small ceremony attended by only their closest friends and family. Bart is a huge lover of animals, and has three pet dogs called Briggy, Meatloaf, and Fawn; some of his favorite animals are snow leopards and cheetahs. Summer is his favorite season as he enjoys laying at a beach and swimming in the ocean, while he also knows how to surf.
Bart has expressed his desire to travel all around the US, but has stated that managing too many YouTube channels and going to the gym nearly every day makes it impossible for him to abandon his routine.
