Bre Ladd

Bre Ladd is a former American volleyball player popular as the featured face of volleyball magazine ‘Fab 50’ for the year  2002.  Additionally, she is also popular as the wife of the former basketball player and Luke Walton. Walton is the head coach of the National Basketball Association ‘(NBA)’ Sacramento Kings. Similarly, talking about  Ladd herself, during high school and her university she played volleyball. As a volleyball player, she won a couple of volleyball titles and honors. Similarly, she also secured a spot in the national junior team through Volleyball.

However, despite so many achievements, Ladd quit playing Volleyball professionally after college. Besides, Volleyball Ladd is also fluent in sign language and has also taught deaf and mutes at a special school.

Bre Ladd: Early Life, Education, and Family

Ladd was born to her parents Bob Ladd and Tammie Ladd on 19 April 1984, in Tucson, Arizona, USA. In addition, she spent her childhood with her sibling older brother, ‘Josh Ladd’. Similarly, talking about her educational qualification, she attended Canyon Del Oro High School in Tucson. Later Ladd graduated with a major in community and public health from the University of Arizona in the year 2003.

Ladd has been playing volleyball since her college days. She built a record for the ‘Canyon Del Oro (CDO) High School’ and for four straight years, she was a volleyball letter winner. She was also a ‘CDO Honor Roll’ participant. In 2001, Bre also received the’ Gatorade National High School Volleyball Player of the Year.’ She played for the ‘Arizona University’ volleyball team as a major middle hitter. Similarly, Ladd played for the Tuscan’Club Cactus’ junior for four years in addition to her school and college volleyball teams. She received many awards, including ‘Tucson Resident’ and ‘The Arizona Republic Arizona State Player of the Year’.

In 2002, in the history of ‘Arizona’freshman, the former athlete registered the highest number of blocks which is 124 blocks and the best blocks per game average that were 1.09. Likewise, Ladd competed as a part of the 2001 USA junior national team at the ‘Women’s Junior World Championships’ in Santo Domingo and Santiago, Dominican Republic. Besides playing volleyball, Bre worked at the ‘Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind’ as a mentor for deaf students.

Bre Ladd: Personal life and husband

Ladd married  Luke Walton on 17 August 2013. The couple had a dream-like wedding ceremony and they both said ‘I Do’ to the base of the Rockies in front of 225 guests. Talking about how they met each other, both of them attended the ‘University of Arizona’ and both played for ‘Arizona Wildcats’. Additionally, while Walton played basketball, Ladd played volleyball. In 2002, they met for the first time, but it was not love at first sight. They remained friends until they started their relationship in the year 2005. After dating for over six years, the two got engaged. On Christmas Eve, 2012, Walton proposed to Ladd.
