  • He started playing football for the youth team of Antalyaspor in 1994 and was promoted to the senior team at the age of 16. He signed his first professional contract in July 2002 and made his professional debut in the 2002-03 season of the TFF First League.
  • On 29 August 2004, he scored his first two goals at the professional level in the 2004-05 season against Karsiyaka at Izmir Alsancak Stadium. During that season, he played at 29 league matches, scoring 8 goals, thus helping his team avoid relegation.
