Dan Burn Club Career

  • He started playing football for the youth team of Newcastle United where he was released by the club at age 11.
  • After being released from Newcastle United, he played youth football for local teams New Hartley, Blyth Town, and Blyth Spartans.

Due to the club’s financial problems and lack of available players, he was promoted to the first team for the first time in the 2009-10 season. On 25 September 2013, he scored his first goal for the club in a 3-1 win against Swansea City in the third round of the League Cup.
