Early life and education

Emily was raised alongside her younger sister in Livingston by their father who was a car mechanic, and their mother who was a nurse.

She became interested in acting at the age of six when she started watching movies and TV series with her mother, and would often perform for her and tell her how she was going to become a famous actress one day. She attended a local high school in Livingston, where she was a member of the school’s drama club and appeared in most of the plays performed there. Upon matriculation in 2002, Emily didn’t enroll at a college but moved to Los Angeles in California to pursue her dream of becoming a famous actress.

Emily made her debut film appearance in 2004 when she starred as Emily in the short film “Paper or Plastic”, about a man working at a store who falls in love with his dream girl. Chris and Emily dated for three years before marrying on 29 July 2006, in a small ceremony attended by their closest friends and family, but in 2010 they divorced due to what appears to be infidelity from Chris’ side, as he (officially) started dating a girl shortly after the divorce was finalized.
