On 26 September 2015, he scored his first goal for the club in a 2-2 draw to Vicenza. In his first season, he made 46 appearances for the club, scoring 30 goals and providing 12 assists in all the competitions as he concluded the season as the top scorer in Serie B with 27 goals.
- On 1 July 2016, he was signed by AC Milan B on a five-year contract, who reportedly paid Pescara a €9 million plus bonus for the transfer.
