Jacob was raised in Los Angeles alongside his younger brother Blake and his older sister Makenna, by their father who is an accountant and their mother who is working as a nurse at a local hospital.

Jacob began acting at a very early age, as his parents arranged for him to attend acting classes at a local theatre when he was five years old.
