With the help of that, the police then went to Jamie’s mother’s house, where they found growing cannabis plants.

Jamie was charged a month later and was sentenced to do 120 hours of community service after claiming the cannabis was just for his use, not for sale. Besides, it isn’t a first time that he got caught with drugs; he was previously also accused of using cocaine in 2006.

The Harry Potter actor was again arrested on 14 October 2011, for participating in the 2011 England riots. The police accused him of having a Molotov cocktail while looting a chemist in Chalk Farm, London. After all investigation, the court sentenced him to two years in prison on 20 March 2012 for his participation.
