Early life, parents and education
Ja’Siah is being raised alongside his younger sister by their mother Lawaine Young who is driving him to his auditions and to the sets of his movies and TV series, while he and his sister are also raised by their grandmother who lives with them. Ja’Siah hasn’t talked about his father and who hasn’t been seen in any of the family pictures, which is why most people believe that he is not a part of Ja’Siah’s childhood – it is rumored that his parents are divorced.
He became interested in acting at a very early age, and his mother helped him sign with Look Models Actors Agency, and start appearing in TV ads and in magazines.
Ja’Siah is currently attending elementary school, and is a member of its drama club, while he is also playing soccer and tennis (only for fun as he isn’t much talented for sports). He is planning to work on his education, and perhaps attend college after he matriculates from high school.
Career as an actor
Ja’Siah made his debut TV series appearance in 2015, when cast to portray Little Big Shot in the episode “Billy Plays “Is Beyonce Scared of That?” with Jason Sudeikis!” of the comedy game show “Billy on the Street”, which has been airing since 2011 and which stars Billy Eichner (the show’s creator), Olivia Wilde and Ryan Funigiello.
The series follows Billy as he quizzes people in the streets for prizes such as money and random gifts. It has been nominated for nine awards including three Primetime Emmys.
In 2017 he made an uncredited appearance as Ben in the comedy crime thriller film “Rough Night”, written and directed by Lucia Aniello and which starred Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon and Zoe Kravitz. The film follows five girlfriends who hire a stripper for a party, but things go terribly wrong – it won Lucia a Special You Too Award, while it was nominated for a Hawaii Film Critics Society Award for Worst Film of the Year.
In 2019, Ja’Siah appeared in the episodes “The Things We Have to Lose” and “At Midnight in Manhattan” of the crime drama mystery series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, which is one of the most popular series in the US as it has won 54 awards including one Golden Globe, and has been nominated for 154 others since it began airing in 1999. Just recently in 2020, Ja’Siah guest starred in the episode “SNL At Home: Kristen Wiig/Boyz II Men” of the comedy musical show “Saturday Night Live”.
Ja’Siah is currently shooting as Justin Simpson for the upcoming crime thriller film “Nicole and O.J.”, which is being directed by Joshua Newton and stars Charlotte Kirk, Boris Kodjoe and Catherine Bailey – it covers the relationship between Nicole Brown Simpson and O.J. Simpson. Ja’Siah is a highly social boy who has numerous friends and usually easily gets along with his colleague actors and actresses (as well as directors). He is popular at school and has numerous friends there as wel,l while it is believed that he doesn’t look down on anyone and is very down to Earth.
Ja’Siah is still too young to be dating but a rumor has it that he is spending most of his spare time with his female friend from school. According to these rumors, the two often study together, play video games together and walk around together.

Ja’Siah is a very active person who spends most of his spare time outdoors playing sports, riding his bicycle and his skateboard.
