Early life and education
Kara was raised an only child in a small city located between Galveston Bay and Houston in Texas, by her father who was a mailman, and her mother who worked at a local telecommunications company. Kara was raised on the water, and spent most of her childhood waiting to watch the sunsets with her parents, which is why she believes that she’s a hopeless romantic today.
She grew up wanting to become a cook, as her mother prepared some of the most delicious meals she has ever tasted, and although she ate a lot while growing, she was physically very active and was thus able to remain fit.

Kara has talked about her perfect date and has stated how the man would have to cook her a really nice dinner, choose a nice romantic movie they would watch together on the couch, until both of them fall asleep.
It is believed by many that she is married and living with her husband, however, it’s known that the famous model hasn’t married, but has been in a relationship with her high school sweetheart for over a decade now. She explained in a tweet published in 2016 that the two were living together, but agreed not to complicate things with signing papers or having children, so as to focus on their careers.
