Born as Traja Gaj Golightly on the 5th September 1993, in Penn Valley, California USA, she spent her childhood in her hometown with her siblings, a sister and two brothers. Her parents are in the medical profession, as her father is a doctor and her mother a nurse. At the age of two, Gage was diagnosed with dyspraxia and had to undergo speech therapy.

She had to learn sign language and used only that way of communication until she turned five years old. Gage went to Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.

Gage’s career started when she was still a child; she went with her mother to Los Angeles to find a manager, and just a year later she made her acting debut, with the role of Eva in the drama film “Speakeasy” (2002), starring David Strathairn, Nicky Katt and Stacy Edwards.
