Mimi Ndiweni is a British-Zimbabwean actress who achieved stardom with her work in theaters, especially with the Royal Shakespeare Company, before switching to on-screen roles. She is best known to the world as Ester/Jekasai in the play “The Convert”, and as Fringilla Vigo in the fantasy adventure series “The Witcher”, among other roles.

Other appearances include the part of Tammy Gaye in “Soul”, and as Cordelia in the play “King Lear”, among others.

Mimi made her on-screen debut in the film “Cinderella” as Slipper Lady, while in 2016 she secured the role of Tilly Brockless in the TV drama series “Mr. Selfridge” The same year, she was Eshe in the film “The Legend of Tarzan”, starring Alexander Skarsgard, Samuel L. Jackson and Margot Robbie.

The same year she also appeared in the television film “The Last Dragonslayer”, which starred Adeel Akhtar, Matt Berry, and Danielle Bjelic.

Mimi continued her career rather successfully, first with the part of DC Andrea Reed in the TV crime-drama series “Rellik”, with Richard Dormer, Jodi Balfour and Paterson Joseph in the lead roles, then in the action fantasy adventure film “Star Wars: Episode IX- The Rise of Skywalker” in 2019.
