Early life and family
Stephanie Katherine Yallourakis was born on 17 August 2000, in Kingsport, Tennessee USA, so holds American nationality and her zodiac sign is Leo. Stephanie was born into the family of Anna and Stephen Yallourakis, both of Greek descent. Her mother is a dentist and director of surgical specialty, while her father is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She has an older brother, Michael Grant, who is also an actor.
Stephanie started taking cello classes when she was only four years old, yet she was very into it and did well on her lessons.
Stephanie began singing when she was five years old, and her talent was discovered by the local vocal coach in Nashville, who worked as the Country Music Stars, and encouraged Stephanie to try herself as a singer and performer, which advice she followed, and took her last stage name Grant to honor her coach. She participated in the Tennessee State Fair Singing Competition, winning it with the son “Part Of Your World” from the Disney animation film “The Little Mermaid”. In 2006 he also won in the concerto and solo performing competitions. In 2009, moving to Los Angeles with the family, Michael landed minor roles in such TV series as “Private Practice”, “Criminal Minds” and “Victorious”, in the latter brilliantly performing the role of a pianist. First steps
In 2009 Stephanie managed to get into the crowd of the concert scene in “Hannah Montana: The Movie”, starring Miley Cyrus and Emily Osment, but of course wasn’t credited. However, she got her first minor role in the series “Criminal Minds” in 2010, appearing as Amber Riverton in the episode entitled “Safe Haven”. In 2012 Stephanie landed the role of Madonna in the short film “Grandsons of Anarchy”, sharing the screen with Joe Aceves and Donald Bowen, and the same year she also landed the role of Maria and the voice-over role of the narrator for “Hark the Angel Sings”, the short film directed by Chao-Tung Huang, also featuring Zadrina Eisenmann, Anna Fitzwater and Stone Eisenmann.
Further success
In 2013 Stephanie landed more support roles, among them Tween in the “Save Me” series in the episode “The Book of Beth”, and Jenny Rose the granddaughter of the title character in the drama “Max Rose”, starring Jerry Lewis and Kerry Bishé in the story of a jazz pianist who discovers that his marriage that lasted more than 65 years was one big lie.
At the end of 2013 Stephanie made an appearance in the episode “Ghost Knight” of the mini-series “Deadtime Stories”, landing the role of Princess Gianna, a nice, friendly ghost who was trapped in the walls of a medieval castle. She also played the younger version of Petra in the short film “The Wonder Girls”, and could be seen in “Spy”, a TV movie in which Stephanie played the role of a young girl.

The Goldbergs
Stephanie’s career got a major twist after her landing the role of Emmy “Muscles” Mirsky in the sitcom “The Goldbergs”, aired on ABC network. Emmy is a girl in the neighborhood, who likes to spend time with Adam, the youngest son of the Goldbergs. They grew up together, so they treat each other more like siblings then just close friends. Stephanie shared that she liked playing Emma particularly the scene in which she behaved as ‘one of the guys’, forgetting she was a girl in the company of Adam’s friends, who were all boys. All in all, Stephanie appeared in 32 episodes of seven seasons of the show, continuing into 2020.
For her work in the series she won her first Young Artist Award, founded by the Hollywood Foreign Press. She later won the Young Entertainer Award in the category “Best Recurring Actress in a Television Show”.
Stage performances and other endeavors
Stephanie is also into stage work, as she has always found theatre to be one of her biggest dreams and passions. She landed a role in the “Coney Island Christmas” production at the Geffen Playhouse, located in Brooklyn, New York. Stephanie’s performance earned her positive reviews from theatre critics, who even compared her with young Meryl Streep, which melted Stephanie’s heart.

Aside from the previous, Stephanie has participated in multiple commercials too, including the Amazon Kindle, which is a special device for more comfortable online shopping. In 2018 Stephanie modelled for the clothing brand Brandy Melville, and the clothing company J. Lindeberg (Stockholm, Sweden).
Stephanie is eager to become an accomplished director
Stephanie has tried herself as a director and writer – along with her brother, Michael Grant, she wrote and directed the short movie “Dominion” (2016), which was accepted by several major film festivals, such as Oscar Qualifier Los Angeles Shorts Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, and a few others.
