Richard Daddario is an American attorney and politician. Prior to his current position, he had served as the head of the New York Police Department’s (NYPD) counterterrorism unit from 2010 to 2013. But he resigned from his job in December 2013, due to controversies surrounding the program’s racial profiling alongside NYPD commissioner Raymond Kelly and intelligence division head David Cohen.
Besides his work, he is popularly recognized as the father of two actors Alexandra and Matthew Daddario. Moreover, his daughter has known for her breakthrough role of Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson film series. On the other hand, his son Matthew worked in the role of Alec Lightwood in the television series Shadowhunters.
