Samantha June Mewis is an American Professional Soccer player. She plays as a midfielder for the team England FA WSL Manchester city and for the United States national team. She played soccer in her college life for the UCLA Bruins . in 2013 she joined her first club Pail Blues of the W-League and that was the starting point of her career. Then after she won three NWSL championship title with Western New York Flash and North Carolina Courage.

2. First Club Pali Blues
Pali Blues was an American women’s soccer team was a member of the United Soccer League USL W- League which was founded in 2008. Pali Blues won their first W-League title in August 2008 against the team FC Indians by 2-1. Mewis joined this club in 2013and the Pali Blues club won the western conference title and a national championship in July 2013 but the Club Pail Blues announced they would no longer compete in the W- League so it was ended in 2014.
3. Took part in FIFA U-17 and U- 20 Women’s World Cup
In 2008 She was a member of the United States FIFA Under -17 team and played for the team in Women’s World Cup in New Zealand. Then after she played FIFA U-20 Women’s World in 2010 and 2012 respectively. At the FIFA U-20, Women’s World Cup Mewis helped her team to win the championship by defeating team Germany by 1-0.

In 2015 Western New Flash was select her for the National Women’s Soccer League. She played all 20 regular games and scored 4 goals and 4 assists in scoring leader board with Lynn Williams. In the same year, she was announced as NWSL Rookie Of the Year Award with Sofia Huerta and the Award winner Danielle Colaprico.
5. Worked with North Carolina Courage Club
In 2017 Western New York Flash officially announced that they sold their ownership to North Carolina Courage. Mewis 2017 became successful for her life as she appeared in every game for Courage. NWSL named her as Best XI and given as an Award for the Most Valuable Player Award. In 2018 she missed the beginning seasons and appeared in 17 games as she was recovering her knee injury. She played in a semifinal match against the Chicago Red Stars and won the match by 2-0. Then In final Courage won the NWSL Championship defeating the team Portland Thorns by scoring 3-0.
6. Signed with Manchester City
She signed with Manchester City on August 10, 2020. Manchester City Women’s Football Club was formed in November 1998.
7. Her sister Kristie Mewis is also a professional soccer
Kristie Anne Mewis her elder sister is also a professional national Soccer player, she plays for the team Houston Dash. They were the first sisters played together for the US Women’s National Team. They were together in the 2008 FIFA U-17 and 2010 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
