Kevin was very into sports and participated in several of them like ice-hockey, soccer, and baseball until he got injured at the age of 11. He remembers himself learning to speak English watching WWE Monday Night Raw. Though injury pushed him away from the sporting activity, he dreamt of being a professional wrestler after watching a match between Diesel and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XI with his father, Terry Steen.

Due to his keen interest in becoming a professional wrestler, his parents allowed Kevin to be trained by Serge Jodoin, a professional wrestler based in Quebec. The following year, Jacques Rougeau trained him, also he wrestled for Rougeau’s promotion for four years. He finally met Terry Taylor, his primary trainer, and continues training with him till this date.

Steen got his first match on May 7, 2000, in L’Assomption, Quebec, and never looked back. He was already fighting under various Canadian wrestling promotions during that period. He joined the International Wrestling Syndicate from 2003-2009, Combat Zone Wrestling( 2004-2006, 2008 & 2014), Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (2005-2008, 2010-2014), Ring Of Honour(2007-2010,2011-2013 & 2014).

On August 12, 2014, Kevin signed with WWE: NXT Champion(2014-2015), where he started to shine as an upcoming wrestling star. He changed his surname to Owens, which made his name Kevin Owens, in honor of his son, who himself is named after the legend Owen Hart

Kevin defeated CJ Parker in NXT TakeOver: R Evolution in his debut match, marking his presence. He started a feud with Sami Zayn, aka former El Generico and former partner, by attacking him. Though he portrayed a negative role, he was loved by many WWE fans and started getting popular among them.

Owens’s popularity skyrocketed when he defeated John Cena in a nontitle match at Elimination Chamber on May 31, 2015. Though Cena defeated him in a rematch at Money in the Bank that took place in June, Kevin was already a superstar as the former Intercontinental Champion.

Net Worth of Karina Elias

The estimated net worth of Karina Elias is more significant than she shows in her social media. The money, her husband Kevin, made from the WWE and other professional wrestling never got into her head. She seems to do quite well in the upbringing of her children, by not letting the limelight affect their humble and down to earth nature.

Kevin Owens’s net worth is estimated to be $10 million from his 19-year wrestling career. It is evident that Karina enjoys a large chunk of it, but her practical nature makes it so difficult for everyone to guess what kind of luxury she might be experiencing.
