Meeting famous spouse
Laura met now husband Woody Harrelson in 1987, while he was working on the sitcom ‘Cheers.’ Laura reportingly worked for Harrelson as his assistant for two years before they began dating in 1989.
On 5 March 1994 the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Deni Montana Harrelson, and two years later Zoe Giordano Harrellson arrived. The couples third daughter Makani Ravello Harrelson was born in 2006, after which event, in 2008 on a beach in Maui, Hawaii, the couple finally held a small wedding ceremony, in front of a few close friends and their three daughters. A few notable names that attended the ceremony were Sean Penn, Willie Nelson and Owen Wilson, as well as Alanis Morissette who performed during the ceremony.
Woody has revealed that the ceremony didn’t cost more than $500.
He also said that ‘I have found, the least expensive things can be the most personally rewarding, Take my wedding. We didn’t feel the need to shell out a ton of cash and do anything over the top. It was basically just a bunch of good friends getting together in Maui.’ he then added ‘I paid for some food and drinks, a few hundred bucks, and that was about it. At the end of the day, it ain’t about how much it costs- it’s about having great people in a beautiful place and just celebrating.’
Laura’s very famous husband Woodrow Tracy Harrelson was born on 23 July 1961, in Midland, Texas USA.
Woody was the son of Diane Oswald and Charles Voyde Harrelson, who was a convicted hitman, and in 1979 was imprisoned for killing a federal Judge, where he would eventually die in 2007.
Harrelson graduated from Hanover college in 1983, with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and English. Woody become widely known for his role in the sitcom ‘Cheers’ in which he spent eight seasons and was nominated for five Emmy Awards, winning one in 1989. Harrelson’s career boasts a long list of award nominated films and television series, such as ‘Natural Born Killer’, ‘No Country for Old Men’, ‘The Messenger’, and ‘Zombieland.’
Woody and Laura are known to follow a raw vegan diet, while also avoiding sugar and flour. Woody was voted PETA’s (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) sexiest vegetarian in 2012. He is also known to be a big advocate for eco-friendly causes, once climbing the Golden Gate bridge in protest of forest destruction.

Louie founded an organic food delivery service ‘Yoganics’, to try and promote healthy clean eating, as well as making it more easily accessible to people. She has also started a company with husband Woody called “Voice Yourself,” a website dedicated to encouraging people to protest pollution.
Voice Yourself was founded in 2001 and is a source for anyone seeking tips on sustainable living, along with diet advice and vegan recipes using all fresh produce.
They also hope that it will inspire a global movement that encourages organic living, and restores harmony and balance to earth.
Ten years after Voice Yourself started it was taken over by couple Robert and Mary-Jo who shared the same vision and goal and Laura and Woody. They continue to show ideas, tutorials, solutions and information to spread knowledge on the lifestyle they so passionately believe in.
