Darah grew up wanting to become a model or an actress, as she and her peers often read girly magazines and watched movies and TV series together. She enrolled at a local high school at which she became interested in photography, and began taking pictures nearly every day, however, her parents urged her to pursue a college degree which is mostly why she attended New York City’s School of Visual Arts from which she obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Darah’s career

She launched her career in September 2008 when she started working in Academy Group of Companies’ financial sector – for the job, she had to move to Edmonton. She stayed there for just over five years, and then in May 2014 joined LaPrairie Crane & Northland Fleet, working in their financial sector for around a year.

After this, Darah decided to focus on her career as a photographer, and has since photographed weddings and parties as well as worked with various fashion agencies and magazines.

Darah met the famous actor Anson Mount sometime in 2011, when they were introduced by a mutual friend. They went on to date for the following six years until Anson asked her to marry him on 8 June 2017. The wedding was held on 20 February 2018, and was attended by the two’s closest friends and family. The two are today living in Connecticut, USA – it appears that they’ve agreed not to have children, but to focus on their careers.

He is an actor who might be known best for his portrayal of the lead character Cullen Bohannon in the western drama series “Hell on Wheels”, created by Joe and Tony Gayton, and which also starred Colm Meaney and Robin McLeavy – it follows Cullen, a Confederate soldier, who has set his mind on avenging the death of his wife. The series won 20 awards and was nominated for 34 others, including a Primetime Emmy, during its airing from 2011 to 2016.

Anson was raised in White Bluff in Tennessee alongside his brother and two sisters, by their father Anson Adams Mount II who worked as the contributing editor of the magazine “Playboy”, and their mother Nancy Smith who was a professional golfer. Anson studied at Dickson County High School, at which he became interested in acting, appearing in many plays performed at the school.
