He released his first extended play (EP) on 19 January 2014, entitled “Purple Thoughtz Vol. 1”, and his debut mixtape “The Real Uzi” followed on 5 August 2014 after he chose Lil Uzi Vert as his stage name. His mixtape “Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World” was released on 15 April 2016, and peaked at #37 on the Billboard 200, the first time he’d featured on the chart. He released the video for his “Money Longer” single in 2016, which became certified platinum two times in the US.

On 31 July 2016 – his birthday – he released his “The Perfect Luv Tape” mixtape, which was followed by his “Luv Is Rage 1.5” mixtape on 27 February 2017. His debut album “Luv Is Rage 2”, which was announced and delayed many times, was finally released on 25 August 2017, reaching #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Lil Uzi is currently working on his second studio album entitled “Eternal Atake”, which is set to be released sometime in 2020.
