Not long after she earned her Master’s degree, she was accepted as a middle school teacher in Northern California. While there, she discovered how young girls struggled with having low self-esteem, and this played a major influence in her advocacy of helping women with the same problem to overcome it.

Her not-so great personal experience growing up along with what she observed among her students pushed her to be connected with the REALgirl Empowerment Program.  It helps young girls from ages nine to 16 with their self-esteem issues, along with informing them of their options so they can fully explore their own potential as individuals.

She is currently a REALgirl® Instructor in the Los Angeles area, and she coaches young girls as they deal with body-shaming and identity confusion, as well as inspiring them to be confident so they can stand on their own. She believes that this would encourage more women to speak out, and be future leaders in society.

In 2019, she started offering Dance and Meditation classes called “Wild and Free” at Studio A Dance in the Hyperion Arts Complex in L.A.
