Early life and education
SoLLUMINATI was raised an only child in Detroit by his father who was a lawyer, and his mother who worked as an accountant.
His father is a huge fan of basketball, and SoLLUMINATI started watching games on TV with him at a very early age. He began practicing the game with his friends in the street at the age of eight, while he started playing it at his elementary school too, and soon joined the school’s team. He went on to attend a local high school at which he played basketball for the school’s team, while he also practiced football and tennis. Upon matriculation in 2012, SoLLUMINATI enrolled at the Odessa College before switching to Eastern Michigan University, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
SoLLUMINATI launched his YouTube channel on 7 July 2012, but didn’t start uploading videos onto it until 2015 – the channel is today subscribed to by more than 1.7 million people and counts over 200 million views of all SoLLUMINATI’s videos combined. He uploads everything that has anything to do with basketball: commentaries on National Basketball Association (NBA) games, his field matches against other YouTubers, and matches played in the video game “NBA 2K20”.
Two of his most popular videos are “MY EX GIRLFRIEND DELETED MY 95 OVERALL PLAYER !!” which has been viewed over 4.6 million times since 6 October 2018, and “I BROKE UP WITH ASH”, watched more than three million times since 25 July 2018.
He launched another channel – “SoLLUMINATI Roasts” – on 29 November 2018, and uploaded only a single video “SOLLUMINATI ARRESTED LIVE!! COPS PULL UP” before abandoning the channel – the video has been watched only around 240 times and the channel counts 10 subscribers.
SoLLUMINATI is very active on various social media networks – his Instagram account is followed by close to 700,000 people, although he’s uploaded only 13 pictures onto it, all taken during his everyday life, and also featuring his dog. He has been active on Twitter since March 2011 and has gathered over 350,000 followers – SoLLUMINATI tweets at least once a month.
His Facebook page counts close to 5,000 fans, while his TikTok account numbers around 21,000 followers, and close to 200 likes of all his pictures and videos combined. He is also a Twitch streamer, and his channel is followed by more than 320,000 people.

SoLLUMINATI is quite secretive when it comes to his love life, as he prefers to keep the details of his past and present affairs to himself, however, it’s known that he was once in a relationship with American YouTuber OmgYoAsh, who uploads videos in which she gives her fans advice about life in general – her real name is Ashley Marie, and she was born in the US on 29 April 1992 under the zodiac sign Taurus. Ashley is also an Instagram star, who previously served in the US Navy.
The two dated from early 2018 to mid-2019 when they split for unknown reasons – SoLLUMINATI hasn’t talked about any girls he might have dated since, however, there are rumors circulating the internet that he might be romantically linked to a non-celebrity girl, as two of his fans have claimed to have seen him walking hand in hand with a mysterious girl, but no proof has been provided to support these claims.

SoLLUMINATI likes to travel, and has been all around the US to watch live NBA matches as well as to attend American Football matches. He has also been to several European countries including Italy and Spain.
He is a lover of animals and has a pet dog, while his favorite ‘animals’ are sea lions.
He is a fan of fast cars, muscle cars to be precise, and is the owner of a Chevrolet which can be seen featured in his pictures on Instagram.
