Early life and education
Ethan was raised an only child in Raymond Terrace, New South Wale, by his father who was a factory worker, and his mother who taught English at a local school. He became interested in tattoos at a very early age, as many of the people he saw around him had tattoos, as well as his mother and father. Ethan became physically active while attending Irrawang High School, as he played soccer and basketball, and started going to the gym at the age of 17 – he’s been having four to five training sessions each week to this day.
He matriculated in 2014, and then chose not to enroll at a college but to focus on his career as a model and social media star.
Career as a tattoo model
According to the web magazine Dailymail.com, Ethan was 11 years old when he began modifying his body, and at the age of 13 he started spending most of his free time around tattoo studios, which is when he knew that one day he would cover most of his body in tattoos.
Ethan has had over 40 procedures done to him.
He has had his nostrils punched, his tongue split and his bellybutton removed – the procedure which scared him the most was when he tattooed his eyeballs and the syringe was right there in front of his eye, as he has explained: ‘You have one person holding your eyelids open and it’s up to you to stare at the wall at a certain spot. It’s so stressful because if you move your eyeball when there’s a syringe in there, you’ll go blind. So that’s definitely a really sketchy one’. Both of Ethan’s ears have been snipped, and the area under his bottom lip has been cut.
Ethan is active on several other social media networks including Twitter, on which he is followed by over 1,200 people, and TikTok but onto which he has gathered only 15 followers, as he still hasn’t uploaded any videos. He launched his self-titled YouTube channel on 4 March 2017, and it’s currently subscribed to by over 4,000 people, while it counts around 46,000 views of both his videos combined – the two are “Modboy is coming to the Ukraine” which has been viewed around 15,000 times since 22 May 2019, and “Modboy Q&A Mukbang Feat. Tukoi”, seen around 31,000 times since 1 April 2019.
Love life and relationships
Ethan started dating his high school sweetheart Belfry ‘Trad Goth Pagan Witch’ Sioux in 2013, and she can be seen in both his YouTube videos as well as in many of the pictures he has uploaded onto his Instagram account. Belfry is living in London, but also spends a lot of her time in Sydney with Ethan – she is a social media star known for her Instagram account, on which she’s gathered around 2,700 followers.
Ethan asked Belfry to marry him in 2017 when he was 20 years old, and they have been engaged for over three years now without any signs of them marrying – rumor has it that the two had some issues in 2019 which nearly caused the break-off of the engagement, but they’ve apparently managed to fix things between them.
Belfry appears to be the only girl Ethan has been with, and as of August 2020 he is engaged to her, hasn’t married (yet), and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Ethan spends most of his spare time at the gym, thus his muscular body, and is following a strict diet, eating only healthy foods. He likes to travel, and has been to many European countries such as Switzerland, Sweden and Norway, and to London on numerous occasions to visit his other half. He’s been to the US on only a single occasion, when he visited his cousin in New York City. Ethan likes to listen to metal and rap music, and his favorite bands are Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden; during one period of his life he was interested in jazz music.
He is keen on watching movies in his spare time, and his favorite actors and actresses are Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman, while some of his favorite movies are “Inception”, “V for Vendetta” and “Leon: The Professional”.
Age and height
Ethan’s age is 23. He has brown hair and eyes, his height is 5ft 8ins (1.73m) and he weighs around 155lbs (70kgs).
As of August 2020, his net worth has been variously estimated at around $1 million.
