Childhood and education

Ruth spent only the first five years of her childhood in London, as her Irish parents then moved to Monkstown close to Dublin – Ruth has no siblings. She became interested in acting while attending St. Andrew’s College, Blackrock where she was a member of the school’s drama club and appeared in most of the plays performed there.
