She has three sisters and a brother; one sister’s name is Sarah, and her brother is PJ Vegas. Her father Pat is a legendary musician, and a member of the band Redbone, known for hit singles “Come and Get Your Love”, “Wovoka”, “Suzie Girl”, “We Were All Wounded At Wounded Knee”, “The Witch Queen of New Orleans”, and others. Influenced by her father’s success, October became interested music at an early age and in school was a member of the singing group, Elementary Ensemble. However, October’s parents developed a drug addiction, and she and her siblings were forced to move to Florida where they lived with their uncle and aunt.

She went to West Brook Senior High School, and after matriculation enrolled at the University of Texas, Austin.

Following her graduation, October obtained a license in bartending and cosmetology, and began working at a bar in Newport Beach, California. It was during her bartending days that she met Tony. In the National Football League (NFL) Draft, Tony was chosen as the 13th pick overall by the Kansas City Chiefs, but in his rookie year, Tony had at best mediocre numbers with 33 receptions and two touchdowns, although it was good enough to earn him a spot in the NFL All-Rookie Team.

He improved in his second year with 59 receptions for 621 yards, and his third season was his breakthrough year in which he caught 76 receptions for 849 yards and 11 touch-downs; this earned him his first Pro Bowl selection, and a place in First-Team All-Pro. Since then, Tony has set many records, and has a total of 14 Pro Bowl appearances, before ending his career after 17 seasons in the NFL. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs until the end of the 2008 season when he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons, where he spend the rest of his career, which he ended with 1,325 receptions for 15,127 yards.

After retiring, Gonzalez has become an NFL analyst, and has worked with CBS and FOX.
