Kyla was raised in Okotoks alongside her siblings by her father Ken Weber who was a businessman, and her mother who is staying away from the media’s attention.
Kyla grew up wanting to become a model and an actress as that was what most of her peers wanted as well – she and her girlfriends often read girly magazines and watched movies or TV series at the house of one of them. However, upon enrolling at a high school, Kyla was urged by her parents to focus on her education and she thus stopped daydreaming, focused on her studies and also became sporting, playing soccer for her high school’s team. Vince went on to win a ShoWest Convention Award for Comedy Star of the Year and then won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Movie – Chemistry (together with Jennifer Aniston in 2006) and a People’s Choice Award for Favorite Leading Man in 2007. In 2010, he won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Activist and his latest win has been in 2013 when he received a CinemaCon Award for Comedy Duo of the Year (with Owen Wilson).
On 10 June 2018, Vince was arrested for driving under the influence and resisting arrest, and was put on three years’ probation.
