Early Life and Education
Jessica Canseco was born as Jessica Marie Sekely on 4 December 1972, in Ashland, Ohio USA, so holds American nationality. Not much is known about her early life and education, and she hasn’t disclosed any information on her parents. She briefly worked as a model and as a waitress.
Marriage to Jose Canseco
While training to become a waitress in the famous restaurant chain Hooters in Cleveland, Ohio, she met Jose Canseco, a Cuban-American Major League Baseball (MLB) player. He’s won several awards, such as Rookie of the Year, Most Valuable Player, and was an All-Star six times. His teams won the World Series two times, firstly with the Oakland A’s, and the second time with the New York Yankees. He officially retired from MLB in May 2002.
Jessica and Canseco started dating not long after their first meeting, and they married in 1996.
That same year they welcomed their daughter, Josie Canseco, however, the couple divorced in 1999. Just a few months before their marriage ended, Canseco was arrested for domestic abuse, and was sentenced to one year of probation. After the divorce, Canseco was connected with the world-wide known singer, Jennifer Lopez. Autobiography
In 2005, Jessica published her autobiography, “Juicy: Confessions of a Former Baseball Wife”, the same year that Jose Canseco published his own memoirs, called “Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big”, in which he admitted to using steroids during his carrier, while also noting that most baseball players use some kind of ‘dope’.
Parts of Jessica’s autobiography were even featured in Playboy magazine, as a cover story for their September 2005 publication. She also appeared in “Entertainment Tonight” and “Good Morning America” to promote it.
Second Marriage
Jessica married Garth Fisher, a television personality and plastic surgeon, on 23rd June 2007, in a ceremony held at Fisher’s mansion in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. However, this marriage also didn’t last, as the two divorced in 2011. They didn’t have any kids together.

The Hollywood Reporter announced in March 2012 that the star of the new VH1 series called “Hollywood Exes” would be Jessica Canseco – in fact, Jessica remained in the show for not one, but three seasons, until 2014.

After finishing several beauty courses, she became a paramedical and cosmetic tattoo specialist, and her salon offers a variety of services, such as cosmetic tattooing and medical needling. She became interested in this career while married to Garth Fisher, and started educating herself about the natural and non-invasive beautification techniques, working hard to become an expert in the field.
Her daughter, Josie, works as a model and internet personality. She modeled for Playboy and was even Playboy Playmate of the Month in June 2016, the pictorial shot by a South African photographer, Henrik Purienne. She was also a model for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show that was held in 2018, and another designer she’s modeled for was Sherri Hill. Josie is rather active on Instagram, on which she has more than 485,000 followers.
