The veteran singer was born on 22 December 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fosses, France, as Vanessa Chantal Paradis. She was born as the daughter to interior designers André and Corinne Paradise. She has a sister named Alysson Paradis who is also an actress. Further, there is no information on her academic qualifications.
From the age of 8, she started her singing career when her uncle, a record producer, got her on the famous French TV show L’Ecole Des Fans (The School of Fans).
