Who is Warren Lieberstein?

Warren Lieberstein is an American writer and producer, best known to the world for working on the Academy Award-winning series “The Office” as a writer and producer from 2009 until the series’ end. Warren is also known for his work on the TV series’ “Back in the Game” (2013-2014), and “Hit the Road” (2017), in addition to other projects.

Born Warren Keith Lieberstein on the 20th September 1968, in Westport, Connecticut USA of Jewish ancestry, he is the youngest child of Stanly Lieberstein and his wife Judith; his siblings are Paul Lieberstein and Susanne Daniels, who is married to Greg Daniels, screenwriter, and producer. Warren went to Staples High School in Westport, matriculating in 1986.

Career Beginnings

Lieberstein started his career as an actor by making his debut in the drama film “Sleepover” in 1995, starring Michael Albanese, Evi Allen and Shannon Barry. Four years later he made a couple of minor appearances in TV series’ “Hyperion Bay” and “King of the Hill” both in 1999, before subsequently starting his career as a writer.

The first project on which he worked as a writer was the TV series “Hype” (2000) and then worked on two episodes of the TV series “All of Us” in 2003. He continued working on TV series such as “Second Time Around” in 2004, and then in 2006 on “Modern Men”.

His brother Paul was one of the writers of “The Office”, and Warren joined the writing team at the end of the fifth season.

He worked on seven episodes in total, but became the series’ producer in the sixth season of the Golden Globe Award-winning series, which made him a star. He continued to contribute to other projects once “The Office” finished, including the series “Back in the Game”, writing one episode and producing 12, and most recently he worked on the TV series “Hit the Road” (2017). During his career, Warren has been working with writing partner Halsted Sullivan.

Audrey started her career as an actress in the late ‘90s with a role as an extra in the romantic comedy film “Let It Snow” (1999). She continued with minor roles over the next 10 years, appearing in such TV series and films as “Ed” (2003), “The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down” (2006), and “Breaking Upwards” in 2009.

However, realizing that acting wasn’t for her, she joined forces with Rachel Specter and the two were hired as staff writers on the series “One Tree Hill”.
