Who is Aubrey Anderson-Emmons?
American actress Aubrey Frances Anderson-Emmons was born in Santa Monica, California USA, on 6 June 2007, making Gemini her zodiac sign. She’s appeared in only one TV series and one movie, and is known best for starring as Lily Tucker-Pritchett in 179 episodes (2011-2020) of the romantic comedy series “Modern Family”, which also starred Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara and Ed O’Neill, and was created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan. It follows the lives of members of three families, the series aired from 2009 through 2020, and won 144 of its 528 award nominations.
Aubrey’s still active in the film industry, but hasn’t spoken about the projects which she’s currently working on.
Education and early life
Aubrey was raised in Santa Monica by her Korean-American comedienne and actress mother Amy Enderson, and American father Kent Emmons who’s a media entrepreneur; Aubrey’s parents divorced before she turned 10, and she was then raised by her mother.
She was somewhat thrown into the film industry, as she was only three years old when she began shooting for the above mentioned series “Modern Family”, cast to play a Vietnamese-born girl who was adopted by a gay American couple. She was four when she won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance in the series, becoming the youngest actress to win the award, and appearing at the 2013 Primetime Emmy Awards, Aubrey became the youngest Asian-American child actress to attend the event.
She’s currently studying at a local high school in Los Angeles, California, from which she should be matriculating in 2025.
Career as an actress
Aubrey’s only other acting credit has been playing Emma Stelzer in the 2014 short science fiction movie “Distance”, written and directed by Aimee Long, and which starred Valentino del Toro, Bel Delia and Geoffrey Arend; set in 2038, the movie follows a man who’s trying to reconcile with his daughter, and it won a Red Rock Film Festival Award for Fiction Short.
Other credits
Aubrey’s been featured in a number of TV specials, such as the 2012 “Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade”, the 2013 “Child Star Psychologist 2 with Kiernan Shipka”, and the 2015 “The World Dog Awards”.
Some of her recent talk-show appearances have been in “Paradise Run”, “Home & Family” and “The Real”.

Aubrey and her mother are today running together their YouTube channel “FoodMania Review”, which they launched on 17 June 2015, and which is today subscribed to by more than 40,000 people; all of their 394 videos combined have been watched nearly five million times, with most related to food. We’re going to cover three of Aubrey and her mother’s most viewed videos, as these have contributed to Audrey’s internet popularity.
Their #1 video “Aubrey Rehearsing Her “Modern Family” Audition” has been watched over a million times since 26 September 2015, and shows Aubrey preparing to attend her first audition for the series “Modern Family”.
Their second most popular video “Rhythm Kale Chip Review by Aubrey, Jeremy, & Nolan” has been watched close to 600,000 times since 27 September 2017, and features Aubrey and her friends reviewing the sweets Rhythm Kale Chip.
