Angela was raised an only child in Hamilton by her father who is a businessman and her mother who is a lawyer. She grew up being interested in writing, and kept her diary on a daily basis, while she was also interested in modelling, and launched her career as a model before matriculation.

She attended a public high school in Hamilton, where she was a member of the school’s drama club and appeared in most of their plays, while she was also playing lacrosse and was serving as the school’s football team’s cheerleader. Upon matriculation, Angela didn’t enroll at college, but rather chose to pursue a career in the modelling industry, however, she continued her education years later, enrolling at a college to study philosophy.
