Otis is being raised an only child in Sydney by his mother who is a nurse at a local hospital, and his father who is working at an insurance company.

Otis became interested in soccer upon enrolling at an elementary school, and soon found himself playing for the school’s team. He became interested in acting only after he enrolled at a high school, and so joined its drama club – he appeared in many plays performed at school, and at the age of 16 started appearing on the stage of Belvoir St Theatre. Otis has only been credited with three other roles other than in “Aquaman”. In 2018, he was invited to play the supporting character Iggy in all four episodes of the mini-series “On the Ropes”, created by Tamara Asmar and Courtney Wise, and which starred Nicole Chamoun, Igal Naor and Keisha Castle-Hughes. The story follows an Iraqi-Australian woman living in Sydney, who against the wishes of her family, friends and the entire community, is going to become a professional women’s boxing trainer no matter what – the film was nominated for six awards.

In 2019, Otis starred as Tim Hale in eight episodes of the family science fiction thriller series “The Unlisted”, which also starred Vrund Rao, Ved Rao and Abigail Adriano, and follows identical twins Kal and Drue who find out that the Australian government has put electronic tracking devices in children and teenagers – the series was nominated for three awards.

Otis has recently been cast to play Pears in the upcoming drama movie “June Drama” which is written and directed by JJ Winlove, and stars Claudia Karvan, Noni Hazlehurst and Uli Latukefu.

The story follows June Wilton who, after recovering from dementia, has very little time to find her children, save her business and regain the love of her other half.

Otis hasn’t talked about any girls he might have dated, as he prefers to keep his personal matters to himself, but there are rumors circulating the internet that he might be in a relationship with his high school sweetheart.

The rumors began spreading after one of his friends (who has remained anonymous) stated on one of the forums on the internet that Otis is taken and is totally in love with his girlfriend – the thread has since been taken down and Otis hasn’t commented on the rumors.

Otis is a huge fan of heavy metal music, and some of his favorites bands are Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and System of a Down, and because he dreamed about becoming a singer himself, he has learned to play the electric guitar.

He is keen on travelling, and has been to many places around Australia while he has also vacationed with his parents in Europe, staying in Greece and Italy.

Otis goes to the gym at least once a week to stay in shape, but is not that dedicated to working out there as he prefers to play sports and go running outdoors.
