A new American Idol has been crowned. Finalist Hunter Girl lost the title to Noah Thompson in the finale of the show “American Idol 2022” for its 20th season. HunterGirl was the final elimination of the season, which means Noah Thompson is the winner of the show. Noah was the frontrunner heading into this finale, with 50 percent of TVLine readers expecting him to win which was followed by HunterGirl with 30 percent of readers’ votes. In the round 1, Noah Thompson sang ‘I’m on Fire’ and Hunter Girl sang ‘Dancing in the Dark; in the round 2, Noah Thompson sang ‘One Day Tonight’ and Hunter Girl sang ‘Red Bird’; in the round 3, Noah Thompson and Melissa Etheridge sang ‘I’m the Only One’ whereas Hunter Girl and Luke Bryan sang ‘I Told You So’; in the final round Noah Thompson sang ‘Stay’ and Hunter Girl sang ‘Riot’.

The 24-years old, Hunter Girl is an American singer and composer who is well-renowned for being the contestant on the show “American Idol 2022” in its 20th season.
