Childhood and education
Jordan was raised in El Paso as an only child by her mother who was a housewife, and her father who was a car mechanic, but who was passionate about theatre acting. Jordan attended a local elementary school, and upon enrolling joined the school’s drama club, appearing in her first play when she was six years old. She was 11 years old when she moved with her family to Los Angeles, California, so that she could pursue an acting career, and she began writing screenplays when she turned 15, having written many to this day. Upon matriculation in 2009, Jordan decided not to enroll at a college, but to rather focus on her acting career.

Jordan made her debut film appearance in 2004, when she portrayed the lead character Katie A. in the short film “Dumping Ground”, directed and written by Benjamin Mattingly and also starring Chaz James and Alexis Adams. The film follows the lives of children living at the Maclaren Children’s Center located in El Monte, California. In 2005, she portrayed the lead character Katelin Kingsford, a professional figure skater, in the Disney Channel film “Go Figure”, for which role she had to learn to ice skate, and was taught by Sarah Kawahara who is an Olympic choreographer.
In 2006, she was invited to portray Abby Snow in the crime horror movie “Glass House: The Good Mother”, which starred Angie Harmon and Joel Gretsch, and is about two siblings Abby and Ethan who, after being adopted by Eve and Raymond, find out that their new parents might not be as good as they believed at first.

In 2016, Jordan portrayed the supporting character Kaley in the romantic comedy film “California No”, which wasn’t very successful, then in 2017 she starred as Carrie in the comedy fantasy horror movie “Living Among Us”, which also starred Thomas Ian Nicholas and William Sadler, and which won three awards and was nominated for one other.
Jordan’s latest roles in movies were all in 2018, including in the science fiction “Beyond the Sky” as Emily Reed, the comedy film “Breaking & Exiting” in which she played Daisy, and the science fiction action movie “Higher Power” directed by Matthew Charles Santoro.

Jordan made her debut TV series appearance in 2006, when she portrayed Zoe Carter in the episode “Part One” of the series “Eureka: Hide and Seek”. She is physically active as she has several training sessions at the gym each week, and she is also following a strict diet which means no sugar nor fast food for Jordan. Each year during the MS Awareness Month, she and her mother run and walk 50 miles together, which they began doing after her mother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
Jordan has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are Robert De Niro, Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock while some of her favorite movies are “Taxi Driver”, “Notting Hill”, and “Maid in Manhattan”.
